Osha Thai Cafe at Bark & Wine

One of our adopters named Maybelline, who adopted Kallan from us, reached out to us to graciously offer appetizers for the Bark & Wine event on Saturday, November 6th.  It turns out her parents own Osha Thai Cafe in Scottsdale on Frank Lloyd Wright between Shea and Via Linda.

Although I lived just several miles away from Osha Thai Cafe, and heard great things about this family-owned thai restaurant, I had never eaten there.  So I decided to take my parents and husband  there for dinner.  We ordered the thai toast as an appetizer, which is a delicious fried toast with ground chicken topped with a spicy and sweet cucumber salad.  It was incredibly addicting.  For dinner, I ordered the “Evil Jungle Princess” (which my husband jokingly said was quite fitting), an aromatic thai curry with lemongrass, coconut milk, kaffir leaves, cabbage, and tofu.  We also ordered the spicy cashew chicken finished with a hot chili glaze, and  pineapple and pork fried rice.  The servings were generously family sized, and we still had left overs to spare.  Needless to say, my family full of picky eaters will be back.

Osha Thai will be catering two appetizers for the Bark & Wine event, so be sure to make it to the event!  Purchase tickets here.
